You are invited to learn more about Dan Tyler's career as a songwriter, recording artist and novelist. In 2003 and 2005, Dan recorded two CDs of original material, both produced by Joe Pisapia (Guster, Watercolor and Joe, Marc's Brother). Musicians on these recordings include Joe and Marc Pisapia, Tony Crow, Brad Jones, Chris Carmichael, Al Perkins, David Gehrke, and Jim Hoke. In 2006, Dan recorded a CD with R.S. Field producing. Bobby Field is known for his work with Webb Wilder, Allison Moorer, Billy Joe Shaver, John Mayall and many others. On this project, the band included Kenny Vaughn, Jimmy Lester, Tony Crow, Brian Glenn, Ken Lewis, Richard McLaurin and David Briggs. Scheduled for release in 2007, is a project produced by Mark Nevers who has worked with Lambchop, The Silver Jews, Bobby Bare, Charlie Louvin, Candi Staton, and many others. The players included Chip Young, Tony Crow, Dennis Crouch, Brian Kotzur, Jim Hoke, and most significantly, Dan's son, William. For more information, click here to send us an email.
